Product Managers rely on good communication skills, whether you are working with your development team, management or customers. Do you shape a compelling narrative when describing a customer's problem or doing your elevator pitch? Join us for this story-filled conversation with Dan Yashinsky about why you can't double-click on wisdom, why you still remember your bubbe's stories, and why you always want to know what happens next. A story is a product that casts no shadow, has no weight, is written on the air, disappears at the point of delivery ... yet can change everything in the life of the listener. How does that happen?

Dan Yashinsky is a well-known Canadian storyteller. He is the author of Suddenly They Heard Footsteps - Storytelling for the Twenty-first Century which won the 2007 Ann Izard Storytellers' Choice award.  Dan founded the Toronto Storytelling Festival, co-founded the Storytellers School of Toronto and has performed at festivals around the world. He has been a storyteller-in-residence at Queen’s University, Toronto Public Library, The Stop Community Food Centre, Storytelling Toronto, and UNICEF Canada. In l999 he received the first Jane Jacobs Prize for his work with storytelling in the community.  You can find out more about Dan's work at www.tellery.com.
