Description: We have come a long way in the product management arena. We have been driven by our customers who have made buying decisions that have made it big for some companies, and have left other companies out in the cold.

Development and product launches that were once driven by gut-feel processes, have now become more scientific. The venture capitalists and the C-Level executives are now expecting products that make money and win, right out of the gate. We cannot afford to be wrong, and our products and processes have got to reflect this new reality.

You are invited to attend a TPMA meeting that will examine the maturation of the product management process. We will examine questions that either support or dispute this theory, including lively discussion around:

• How have product management processes matured over the years?
• Has the view of the product manager changed at the executive level?
• What are the latest trends in product planning processes?
• Are there differences between processes in large firms and small firms?
• How has the product management tools market progressed?
• What are the latest trends in product marketing?
• What is happening to the associated market around product management? (i.e. tools, training, websites, books).

If you are involved in product management, product development or product marketing, you will not want to miss this opportunity to hear what is happening in the industry. Come out and see what others are doing, and what others have done.
Location: Metro Hall
55 John Street, 3rd Floor
Room 303
Format: Product Management Panel
Speaker Info: Facilitated by Steve Castrucci of the TPMA Executive.
