Getting to the Executive Suite in Product Management

Common questions as product managers look to their career prospects ahead include "What's next? Where do I go from here?". In many disciplines there are well defined paths within organizations and a fairly clear picture of what it takes to get to the next level. Product in tech tends to be part of fairly flat organizations with fewer and fewer roles available to create upward mobility. Titles across companies can have very different meanings in terms of seniority, scope and compensation.

This session will be an interactive chat with Subreet Dhingra who has risen the ranks to now being Head of Product for Marcus at Goldman Sachs. We will talk about his journey, lesson learned, what it looks like to perform, excel and be recognized for that next bigger thing.

We will be sure to have lots of time for attendees questions.

Subreet is currently the Head of Product for Seller Financing at Marcus by Goldman Sachs and has worked in the small business industry for the last seven years. As a former small business owner himself, Subreet has been creating digital solutions for the SMB market in Lending, payments, and cards that are still being used by hundreds and thousands of customers.

Prior to this, Subreet worked at Rogers Communications in Toronto where he started as a smartphone specialist and evolved his career to go into product management and oversaw multiple products under the new product development team. Subreet thrives in environments of collaboration and always keeps the customer journey in mind while taking significant decisions for his products.

This is an on-line event with breakout rooms for networking before the presentation and afterwards. Networking breakout rooms will be open from 5:45pm to 6:00pm and from 7:00pm to 7:30pm.
