As product managers we have to strike a tricky balance between being out in our markets and in our businesses to understand the critical problems to be solved, prioritize them, build roadmaps and ultimately then develop a backlog that executes on all of that work. We need to support and partner with our scrum teams to realize those ambitions and bring them to market. What does effective partnership look like? What happens when we do it well and when we do it poorly?

Chris Mcfarlane is a creative problem-solver, process mechanic and strategic thinker. With extensive experience in traditional and agile project management, he specializes in building high performing teams. Chris has led agile transformations within technology teams and is a champion of customer centricity. In this session he will share his perspectives and advice to product managers based on years of learned examples of what accelerates team performance, slows it, and stops it.
