Wendy Firestone has been with Grossman Dorland Recruiting, a recruiting agency focused on building tech and media teams, since 2008. Her focused passion for talent acquisition has helped establish and grow some of gdR’s most successful industry relationships, from VC-backed startups to large tech leaders. With seven years of tech and startup community involvement under her belt, she has learned the tech and startup landscape inside and out. Wendy earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario.

Judy Mellett, Director Service Strategy & Design at TELUS 

Judy is the Director of Service Strategy and Design at TELUS. She has over 10 years of exceptional leadership experience at TELUS. She has successfully managed various teams including the device & accessory development, product development application & services and most recently the service design team driving innovation & strategy at TELUS.
