Social Media marketing intelligence is a method of sourcing and gathering  valuable insights from a firm's own social networks. A network which many firms have invest time cultivating.  A firm can learn many insights, which can be used to drive new product innovations, identify emerging trends and shifts in consumer behavior. The question is how does a firm  effectively leverage their social media network? Additionally, who in the organization should champion this program?

At this month’s meeting, Mark Farmer, of York University, will discuss how to leverage social media marketing intelligence for your firm.
